And that means the Queens are losers. Nothing is more pathetic than tanking. But the good thing is, they'll never win a championship. Sweet justice.

Can we give TMac the night off now or will JVG still have some Napoleonic complex he has to deal with and play TMac 48 minutes against Seattle.

You were too quick, I was going to post the exact same thing.

Now that the seedings are 99% set, we can start speculating on the second round:

    Houston v Dallas - Rockets in 6
San Antonio v Denver - Spurs in 5
    Seattle v Sacramento - Seattle in 7
Phoenix v Memphis - realistically, Suns in 5 or 6, but I wouldn't put a Memphis upset out of the question.

I wouldn't call Houston beating Dallas a major upset (although we are the underdogs), and the Spurs won't lose to the Nuggets. The Sonic/Kings and Suns/Memphis series are the two where I can see the underdog getting up. Memphis has played well against the Suns this season and I wouldn't be that shocked if they advanced. I'm still expecting Phoenix to win, but I haven't written Memphis off completely.

The matchup of the round is easily the Dallas v Houston series though.

As a Spurs fan I say Go Rockets.

No season is complete without seeing that camera shot of Mark Cuban near tears as another season closes out for the Dallas Mavericks.

Yes, I'll gloat. My signature was created in November. I added the Vin Baker Only Fan after a particularly non-memorable evening.

Wait, you're telling me you root for the Spurs. Do you not remember the time that Robinson flat-out stole Dream's MVP. ;)

Queens were determined to tanked the Utah game after we beat Denver. So we were set on #5 a few days ago. Now the Queens were treading some dangerous water there last night. What if Denver beat Suns last night.

Did Sacramento wait to be sure Denver would lose before throwing their game against Utah?

Maybe. At half it was a 2pt game, and Suns was crushing Denver in the 1st qtr. They took advantage of shcedule. Sonic wont be easy for them. Actually, I bet Sonics are exited because Sac is their best chance to pass the 1st round.

dude - the legendary game that Dream put on Robinson that night made it all worth while :D

Jim Rome started calling DR the "guppy" for years after that game !

it might be the most embarrassing moment for a single player in NBA history

Stern: "here is your MVP trophy David"

Dream: "congrats, let me give you my dream shake 15 times on national TV"
