I don't know what to think. I really wanted to win. It's too bad we are missing so many players. It's almost unfair.

All I have to say is so much for the "motion offense". Looks to me like the same ol' crap!!!

We need to learn how to pass. Especially Stevie and Cat. Looks like they are there to pad their stats and get no one else involved all game long...it has something to do with our crappy motion offense...

Collier is not an NBA quality player.

Rudy should have played Nachbar more, and Moochie less.

Steve is a great two guard, and did not attempt to make his teammates better at all. It was a selfish performance.

Ming has terrible lateral quickness, and that negates his height. I think the pick was a mistake.

Cato is a top ten center.

We really missed KT, MoT, and Rice tonight.

No Playoffs! Rudy can't coach or tell SF or CM what to do.

Lets see what happens if he actually gets the ball!!!! I think MING needs more than a few meaningless minutes, with someone other than MOOCHIE out there jacking up shots, to judge him as a NBA player!!!!

New season, same old Rockets. I know it's just one game, but I'm extremly disappointed with this first game. Even with the players the team was missing, this still should have been a win tonight. That Pacers team isn't going anywhere, even in the pathetic Eastern conference.

The offense still looks horrible and unfluid. No motion, no passing, nothing. Steve had to do it all basically by himself tonight. Steve needs some major help out there. Cato hustled tonight, which was a pleasant surprise, but for the most part, I was very disappointed with the team's first game. There was no excuse for the Rockets to come out the way they did tonight.

That was the worst excuse for an offense.

cnttope - it's eminently fair. Indiana was missing Jamaal Tinsley and Reggie Miller, two starters. We we're only missing one starter from last year, KT. MT didn't play last year and Rice played sparingly last year. We just lost to a better *team*. We had one guy with a superstar performance and one guy with a good performance and Cato with a good rebounding game ( so we could just stay even ) and that isn't going to win many games, maybe another 29.

    My thoughts of the game:

    1. I didnt like the starting lineup of Steve, Cuttino and Moochie. Moochie still did a lot of dribbling and Cuttino is not a SF.

    2. Boki should've gotten more shots. He was wide open most of the night and teams havent learned to respect his shot yet.

    3. Yao Ming has got to get stronger and soon. I know there's no time for him to get the proper weight training workout during the season but something has got to be done. He cant even hold on the rebounds he grabs. He also needs to work on his vertical leap.

    4. Eddie should've taken the ball to the hole more because his shot wasn't falling tonight.

I know that the team played short handed, but they'll get better real soon it was only the first game.
