Thread title says it all. We are 20-16, and while this losing streak is irritating, I guess it's not a bad record considering what we've dealt with so far. Now for a few days rest and then we'll play the Knicks?
Overall, thoughts for the rest of the season now we're done with this ridiculous part?

    Great thread. Seriously.

This board really needed some optimism.

yeah, fans forget about this and have become spoiled by how this team overachieved so far.... .500 would have looked good at this point...they just need to keep their constant work ethic on the court and they'll get 50 wins. Oh and let's remember we may get some added help in a trade. Help that we desperately need because we got a GAZILLION dollars not playing. so dont forget that.

ye...knicks lost to nets. Maybe it's time to start our bench and bench the starters.

20-16 after this stretch is an accomplishment now with the easiest schedule in the league coming should benefit the troops.

Schedule gets wicked hard again at the end of this month. How do Atlanta, Portland, Denver, Phoenix (in a row) sound? That's how we close out January, with a murderers' row of elite teams.

That being said, we're at home, we're hungry, and we'll take 'em!

Nice to be 20-16. The team needs to break this losing streak on the road and it will not be easy against the Bobcats. It all starts Saturday need to get a winning streak going.

20-16 after the toughest NBA schedule in the league, not bad.

    Another 22 winning streak!!!
It's quite a similar situation than 2 years ago... as well as a similar good schedule

I didn't think they would fair well but they proved me wrong. In the offseason I vented that I wanted to go to the lottery to get a good young player to build around but I didn't see what was in front of my face ... we have a good group of young players to build around as a collective. They truly are the pride of Houston Rockets fans.

On the bright side we still have the 7th spot.

Looking at the next 10 games, i think we could probably get 8-10 wins.

    vs New York
    @ Charlotte
    vs Minnesota
    vs Miami
    vs Milwaukee
    @ San Antonio
    vs Chicago
    vs Atlanta
    vs Denver
    vs Portland

If someone told me they would be 20-16 at this time, after looking at the schedule I would have laughed in their face.
Their record may not be where we want it to be but that's only after seeing how well they play. No doubt about it, this Rockets team is legit.

Yeah but an easy schedule means the GARM is highly combustible. ONE upset, and the axes will be sharpened, complete with knee-jerk threads

Thanks for that. This small light of optimism was needed after our last two games.

20-16 is something to be very proud of. Even the past 3 games, we fought hard and were in every one of them. Team is super resilient. We'll bounce back quick.
