So I'm looking for tickets to Canada, it's going to be either to Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver, so I was wondering where I could get the best priced tickets. Thanks.
I just landed at Pearson airport in Toronto (from IAH in Houston) about an hour ago, and the ticket (purchased in advance) was about $550 USD. If cost is an issue, I would definitely recommend flying into Buffalo if you want to go to Toronto (it's about 90 miles away). For Vancouver, Seattle is pretty close (140 miles). Flying directly to Canada from the US is usually really overpriced because 1) many people don't fly between Houston and Canada (my Continental airplane was one of those small jets that usually fly the Houston to Austin flight) and 2) there are a lot of international taxes when flying international. Two low-cost airlines that I know of in Canada are West Jet and Porter Air (Porter also flies to NYC and Chicago).
Someone on here linked this site already but http://www.sidestep.com/ . It's like Orbitz, Priceline, Travelocity and all the major airline sites rolled up in one.
