    I care, and I'm definitely in the minority on this board. But honestly, you are going to get a very biased response from a board based in Texas.

    I do feel badly for my brother in law, who is a HUGE Red Wings fan.

    i think you will get some upset fans in Dallas as well....they have a competitive team and it seems as though there is a decent fan base there as well

    Well i heard on ESPN the players finaly decided on a sallery cap but it was 6 million high than the owners wanted. I guess it was to little to late. For thoughs who care.

    Well, it was inevitable, and I commend the owners for standing firm...I also understand where the players are coming from, but in the end, the FANS LOSE...

    I just moved to Dallas and was so siked about getting to see the Stars play, but will have to wait until next year...

    Couldn't care less, but the NHL did it to themselves by expanding too much too quickly. Why put a hockey team in North Carolina? Florida? Columbus freaking Ohio? Phoenix?

    I care.....i dont care as much as when we lost 1/2 the NBA season....or when baseball went on strike....or when the NFL had scab players....but i definitely care because I like to watch it.

    When I was younger, I really used to like Hockey. I don't know why I don't care for it much now, but I think it started when the Great One retired.
