Carmelo Anthony has 15-game suspension, and Rox was their 13th and 16th. But, due to the severe weather conditions, December 20's game between the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets was postponed and rescheduled to Feb. 5. That means, if I'm right, rox will match nuggets at 12th and 15th c.anthony's suspension game. I don't know if I got it all right, or there is somewhere we can get a official confirmation. But if it happens, I'm just wondering how offen a NBA game postponed due to weather issue? Gotta know, they supposed to meet 15 different teams in next 15 games. But now, ROx will catch 2, and both team lost 1 of 2 top players of their teams, fair enough, huh? "Coincidents"~~ , i know that is what u gonna say.
well playing with iverson isn't a good thing either. i rather have him and carmelo play together for the first time to see wat happens since there is only one ball on the court at a time.
uhm lets first handle the teams we have to play before the nuggets before claiming easy victories. nothing is given in this league
if nuggets and rox end up as 5~8, i bet no 1~4 team wants to match them at 1st round. well, i'd rather see nuggets VS suns, and rox VS any one left.
I agree. I would hate it if the Rockets have to take on the Suns in the first round. Suns are one of the top team that I think will give the Rockets the hardest time. Along with Mavericks and Spurs. But I really want to face the Mavericks in the Western Conference Fianls where we can revenge the lost in the last 2003-2004 (I think?) playoffs.
Im less afraid of Iverson as I am of J.R. Smith. He should be coming back from his suspension for the game. I think it's safe to say he's going to try and have a big game for his first game back, and the Rocket's aren't the best team at defending against 3-point shooters (see the Suns game). J.R.'s biggest games have come hand and hand with great shooting nights from the outside, so I am sure he's going to be jacking up lots of them against the Rockets. I can see McGrady negating Iverson point for point (and with better FG percentages), but Alston and Head are going to have to have good nights.
Thats right we got lucky cuz Suns got screwed. I agree also the Rockets should kill the Nuggets in these two games. TMAC (now) > AI. .
i would rather the suns match up against the mavs so the mavs can take out our biggest headache early on.
it doesn't matter if Canthony comes back or not... iverson + anthony + jrsmith still equals to lost to rockets
We should never take any playoff game granted, nor any regular season game. The Rockets use their heart each time they go into a game, so don't discount any of them. Come playoff time, wins will be much harder and more gundier.
not only Mavs, Lakers and Nuggets, all those 3 teams could kick SUNS' ass easily. Especially Lakers, PJ already had a winning plan against SUNS. Poor suns would die urgly if they met lakers at playoff.
its funny cuz on the denver nuggets forum this is a thread that says we'll beat the rockets twice With Rafer Alston
