Our #1 draft pick is gonna get punked by dirty ass players
how does this make you feel?

Anyone feel he could get hurt and ruin himself for the season?

well your thread titke does have something to do with your name, cause a non movie maniac would not have come up with a title like that.

Anyway i was thinking the same thing, what if ming got hurt in these international games. That would suck big time, at the same time how many player really do get hurt. The odds are against it. He will not get punked around that much, becuase he will school them with finess. Just like garnett does. He will be fine and he won't be hurt by playing clean b ball. Our us player have mor epride than to go out and hurt player that did nothing to them. If that was the case they would not be on the team, because the people who select them do some dumb background check on their attitude and personality.

no, i dont think so bro... give it a rest! Yao will not try to take over the game and if the USA Centers play dirty then Yao will hold his own.

I think it is great, the more they try to beat on Ming and the harder they play againest him is good. In their simple minds they will destroy his desire, but little do their simple minds know that it will only make him work harder and we will see who goes to the highest level in the leaque while the others say "what happened"?. If he was a 7"5" player from Africa would they be so concerned?

If it becomes a cheap shot affair I think the coach will take him out for the bench. The games that matter to him are in Indiana, and not in on the west coast.

If he was from Africa, people would be saying he will be the next Manute Bol, instead of the next Shawn Bradley.

guys, they are intimidated by him. they are going to expend so much of their focus on him that I would not be surprised that he has less than 10 points....but, it does not matter because there are no other b-ball players on that team who can help take the focus on Ming. it almost proves our point that if he gets 8 points and 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 20 minutes agains double teams and dirty play and no guards to pass to him, imagine what it will be like with Mobes, Francis, Rice, Boki, Taylor and Griffin on the court. You can't double team him that much

I say let them be punks and embarrass themselves with their fruitless comments and let Ming get 8 points...so what...we will see you Ben during the regular season when you have to guard the lane against Griffin, Francis and Mobely with Ming just hanging out...

Good luck tonight Wallace...shut'em down , hurt him because it will all come back to haunt you
