My lady and myself are considering going here in june.. Any Advice?.. Going to stay in NY a couple of days and take a train to New London, CT then ferry.. any help will be appreciated.
You may want to check a travel forum. lol. Try places like tripadvisor.com or something if you get no responses here. Even if you do get any responses here, they're going to be few and far between for a location as specific/unique as that.

I read up alot about. Just was figuring someone would have advice.. Maybe I'll mention that I will be within 500 miles of Jeremy Lin and this thread will blow up.
I always wanted to go when I lived in NYC but over long weekends, the prices get ridiculously expensive. Book the trip early. There is limited ferry capacity getting to/from the island. Or better yet, go mid week to avoid the crowds.
