The player of the week, last week, you guys voted for Carl Landry.

    Week 1: Yao
    Week 2: Brooks
    Week 3: Brooks
    Week 4: Yao
    Week 5: Landry
    Week 6: ------

    Games played last week:
    W vs LAC http://www.nba.com/games/20081203/LACHOU/boxscore.html
    W vs GS http://www.nba.com/games/20081205/GSWHOU/boxscore.html

    My Picks:

    3. Ron Artest
He played extremly well vs GS. He had 28 points and finally shot well. He also had a good defensive presence. Against LAC, he was also good, but defensively, I wasnt impress with him. He didnt stop Thornton. Also, he didnt shot well from the field.

    2. Rafer Alston
This week, it s an almost tie between Alston and the number one pick. I had hard deciding who is the player of the week. Alston played extremly well in both games. In the both games, he hit 8 3s and his stats were very good too. His defence was extremly good too.

    1. Yao Ming.
I would have given the #1 position for Alston if Yao didnt have that perfect 4th quarter vs GS. His numbers were so good this week! Also, he made us win that GS game. Without him, we wouldnt win it.

if it is last week, it must be Yao ming.

    24/10/3
    33/14/5

    70% FG%,
29/32 free throws in 2 games.
19 points in 4th quarter vs. Golden State.

    That's a Dream performance.

I think Yao has to get it. You can't argue with those numbers or the results of the game.

I do think Rafer is deserving though. He has been playing very well recently. As always, I just hope he keeps it up...

My vote goes to Rafer, who's surprisingly back with fantastic shooting from downtown and really impressed me with his underneath symbol '22-win-streak Rafer'. :D

Though It's really A tough call for me,Yao did a pretty good job on both defensive and offensive end for the past 2 games, esp in the Rockets/Warriors Game. He exploded to net 19 points in the 4th quarter alone while fouled out 2 opposing guys.

Anyways,my vote for Skip to My Lou. ;)

    Are you being funny? :p

Last time I saw T-Mac running his limping leg on the floor,I wouldn't vote for him until he's back 100% and did what he promised us on his blog,A FIERCE MAC! :D

Yao gets my vote, but Rafer deserves a lot of credit for his play.

I vote for Rafer to encourage him to upkeep that high level of performance. I sincerely hope that he could recognize that the Rox need a consistent PG in the playoff in order to be successful and that this reward would act as a booster for him to continue his excellent constribution.
