Don't know if you guys caught this, but it was pretty funny. For EJ's stat o the night, Chris Webber challenged Chuck to eat a single piece of bread in 30 seconds. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/O210voQbdZw&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/O210voQbdZw&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I was up pretty late last night doing work on my laptop when I saw the commotion... I had to rewind (do we even say this anymore for Digital stuff? ) my DVR on the show... I was laughing so much I almost woke my family up. Good stuff... nice to see Charles play along... and a great challenge for anyone NOT prepared.
Ive done this challenge but I thought it was supposed to be a minute, I don't know if anyone can get it in a minute either.
yeah it's just one slice of regular bread... maybe it is 30 seconds, i don't remember...either way it sounds easier than it is.
i have tried to eat 3 packs of saltine crackers in 60 seconds. that's a total of 6 crackers. couldn't do it. too dry and can't stop laughing.
WTF? i took the challenge and failed miserably. 2 minutes 22 seconds for a slice of Nature's Own Honey 7 Grain bread
I just did it in 23 seconds with Pepperidge Farm Hearty White. Yeah, it turns into "peanut butter" in your mouth... but just swallow and it'll go down. I didn't smash the bread before hand, but I'm assuming smashing/balling would make it easier. (I didn't even want to eat the first slice... but science demanded it.) I tore it in 2 and got the full 'peanut butter' effect with the first half, but the 2nd half I again tore in 2, but this time I let the last 2 pieces get a little wet, couple chews and swallow.. chew chew swallow. /shrug I just used my quota for 'swallowed' for the year. (sigh, 90 calories, 190 mg sodium, and 19 carbs in the name of science.)
