To me as a player Webber is not worth the value on this Team. The Only good thing Webber can bring is Vet leadership, and TICKET & MERCHANDISE SALES!! NY can have him. When I think of Webber I think of these players. Larry Johnson, Derrek Coleman, and Jason Williams. Take your pick; He'll become one of these guys in the long run.

When I was Little I call in a local sports show and told them the Rockets should Trade Otis Thorpe for a Lottery Pick. They found me to be stupid.

Could you please explain why you couldn't have just put this post in someone else's thread instead of starting a new webber thread?

    we need more Webber threads!

He is right though... Webber is too passive for my liking...

I would never give the max to a player who isn't the type to grab the bull by the horns...

Yeah, whatever guys. There is no need to make comments like this just so that IF we dont get webber, you can say that you never wanted him. Coleman, Williams and L.J.? I cant believe you would even put C.Webb in a category with those chumps. Webber is one of the best, if not the best, power forwards in the game. Those other three dudes were maybe second tier during the prime of their careers. Plus, Jayson Williams was only a good rebounder and he only did it well for a couple of years. Webber has been tearing it up for many years now. You are only fooling yourselves.

Jason Williams never was and never will be in the same league as Coleman and Larry Johnson. Johnson was one of the best forwards in the NBA in the early 90's and so was Coleman.

Those guys were allstars in their primes, and so is CWebb. Right now, the rocks do not have an all star post player. So, geez, get CWebb.
