I have this new laptop,and all of a sudden the web pages begin to lag and go slow when I try to scroll down. I tried installing new video drivers, but it doesnt seem to be doing the trick.

What might be the problem?

ram or you have a ton of system processess going on. i would recommend reinstalling a fresh copy of windows. my laptop was slow as snails until i did this. i went from 46 processes to 35.

Run anti-spyware software and run defrag. That alone improved my wife's laptop tremendously.
