Since I installed audiogalaxy last year I have listened to more new music than ever. My current favorite is a blues/rock duo from Detroit called The White Stripes. The group consists of singer/guitarist accompanied only by a woman drummer of the Moe Tucker (that's Velvet Underground, folks) school of primitive bashing. Really cool songwriting that drips with intelligence, sex and aggression in a musical genre that had seemed pretty boring to me as of late. Have any of you heard of them? Download something from their latest (I think it is still unreleased in the US) and rawk!
So, what are some groups that you found on the web that float your collective boats?

-Elvis, who got the Dell computers yesterday and doesn't know what to do with all of this horsepower!

there was a write-up on the The White Stripes in the most current issue of GQ. apparently, they're really starting to make some noise.

I didn't find out about this group on the web, but if you've never heard of Dashboard Confessional, you should him/them out.

mainly acoustic, but very emotional, catharsis music. especially for boys who like girls who hurt those boys.

I discovered that I liked "Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie" and "The Arrogant Worms" - two Canadian novelty/humor song bands.
