Had we done that, we would have had more time to work on FAs/trades and use our cap space without throwing Lin or Asik away. Morey wanted to be a good guy and it bites us in the ****.
If Morey could do things differently, he would have. Dude is ultra aggressive. Can't really blame him for his decisions. Things just dont pan out
I'm usually not a Thread NAzi, but damn lol. This is getting ridiculous. There are already countless threads on Parsons and whether or not match or whether we should have kept the option. It's just attention seeking at this point.
Oh thanks for the knowledge OP! Well if ya didn't know, most of us (definitely including Morey) didn't think Parsons would get his 3 year max! The guy came off a playoffs in which he struggled mightily, and his defense has been regressing. Even with all of that, we expected him to sign a contract similar to Batum (the guy that outclassed him on both ends of the court in the series) but we were thrown a curve ball by Cuban. This is a consequence of there being so much money on the market, and there being few wing players that are young and attainable.
