    Patty Mills is a restricted free agent for the Spurs. At the right price, he would be a good backup for whoever is our starter at the beginning of the season (Lowry, Dragic, etc). It's going to be tough to keep Goran with the price he's asking for. Mills is only 23 and is still improving. When given the chance, he does well.

    I remember a game 2 seasons ago in Portland where he absolutely torched Aaron Brooks. Dropped 20 points or something like that.

    He's undersized, and a liability on defense, but I love the scrappiness to his game. Dude is all out hustle, and will fit in nicely with the team.

    i feel targeting a back up (at best) pg should be much lower on our to-do list considering:

    1. we have no franchise player
    2. Morey is trying to create the houston superfriends with howard and dwill
    3. we have 7 effing power forwards
    4. if all else fails.. resigning dragic is much more important

    too many other issues exist for the rockets and bringing up patty mills is just a waste of time..

    and if i come across as mean i do apologize, i have been staring at tvs and computer screens for the past week following the soap opera of dwight howard trade scenarios.

    I met him in a Nightclub in Melbourne 3 days ago. Along with Luc Longley and a few other aussie ballers.
    Was too drunk to remember the rest of them haha..

    Yeah that was a game brooks was coming off and injury and was a off in quickness, mills abused him for it. Anyways i'd like the signing of mills, i'd even be fine with him as our starting point, while letting dragic walk if indeed dragic wants 10 and mills would go for 5 or 4.

    I have a real soft spot for patty being an Aussie, and having interviewed him in my previous job, he is a really nice and down to earth guy. I see his ceiling as a guy who is a teams 10th man though, he's a trigger happy shooter and isn't a great ball-handler for a pg.

    He's better than fortson, but really that's no achievement.

    And btw OP he has a player option for next season, he's not a restricted free agent as he was signed after playing in china
