I know that Mobley is a talented SG and that he has meant a lot to this franchis in his first 2 seasons, but he is our BACKUP shooting guard.

Don't get me wrong I know how important a role he plays on this team, but is it important enough to pay him the maximum, because that is what he is going to ask for in 2 more years when we would have his full bird rights.......

I would rather keep Shandon (who we already have a wink wink deal with)as our shooting guard and spend that Cuttino Mobley money on our frontcourt.......

If we kept Francis, Shandon and Mobley; our entire salary cap in 2 or 3 years would be tied up in our Back court and there would be no shot of getting the frontcourt presence that we need to be successful......

it is a shame that we gave Mobley his shot at the NBA, and he repays us by leaving; but that is the NBA and we should move on from here.......personally I am happy as I am sure Shandon is at the possibilty of Shandon Anderson taking on a bigger role with this team and becoming a more complete consistant player that he showed flashes of last year....

I am completely happy with the backcourt of Stevie Franchise and Shandon Anderson.......Mobley wouldn't have been happy with being the 6th man for long and that would have caused a bunch of problems, EVERYTHING WORKS OUT FOR THE BEST !!!!!!
