No. Just No. We aren't trading any of them and we shouldn't.

Its unlikely any of those PFs in the draft are going to contribute much anyways...plus we can move up or move down to the pick we want...

I'm hoping for a pick around the 10spot. Brook Lopez went 10th.

Jan Versely sounds like a good pick who probably will fall around our range 15-22.

He is not only a great pick but also will not affect our cap situation next summer. With the veteran we have and the need to compete for a championship, we can leave him oversea so he can get valuable minutes he needs to develop for another year.

One or more of the PFs will be out and one or more will be coming in. Morey has already said during the radio interviews that they want a young, athletic PF to play next to Yao and Clutch has alluded to this.

those examples are way too extreme.
do u except morey to do those horrible selections?
my point is we will be able to get a quality impact player as long as we get a top10 pick.
Besides, for every bust there is 10 studs

Pau Gasol's potential? He started at SF position, like Jan, that's why he's now that versatile player.

Sam Bowie and Darco........Nobody questioned those two picks at the time....... Morey could have easily taken either of them at number 2 because they were both concensus top 3 picks in their respective drafts.

Actually, it's the other way around. For every stud there are 10 busts. If it was like you said then the league would be filled with stud players and it's not.

So you want to trade one of our established PF's so we can draft an unproven PF?

no i am saying why hold everyone (Landry scola hayes) when we can package one of them and say battier or ariza for a star wing (sg/sf)... and fill the void left by one of them in the draft loaded with PF....

What are you talking about nobody questioned it? There were many questions about Detroit's decision to draft Darko over Carmelo.

Here is Dickie V in 2003 saying that Detroit will regret it. On sports radio, sports websites, and sports forums, there were many people calling Darko a future bust. There even disappointed Pistons fans ranting on the forums.

just and example that we should consider and i believe the blazers would be compelled to look at it as well....

    Scola/Battier for Webster/Blake/Fernandez

we will then be able to shop brooks or lowry

or we can package brooks with TMAC and our pick for Amare

    Ming/Anderson/Hayes
    Amare/Landry
    Ariza/Bud
    Fernandez/Webster
    Blake/Lowry
