That game was ugly,we all agree and I cant see us playing like that two games in a row!Denver better watch out because I think the Rockets are going to come out "blazing".We better to because if we play like that agin we will lose and we really need this win looking at the schedule coming up!

Next five games after Denver are against San Antonio,Lakers,Dallas,Sacramento, and Portland. If we dont get are act together and start hitting some shots we could end up with a 6-6 record going into Seattle!

Sure Im happy with are record and I think we should be 6-0 but dont get to estatic already, its early in the year and other than Phoenix and Minnesota we havent had much competition. We usually seem to play to the level of are competition in the past and I hope that is still the case because we are coming up on a hard stretch and I cant wait to see what happens.

Just think where we will be in the polls if we can come out with a 11-1 record or even a 10-2.I want to be at least 3 games over .500 after 12 games. What do you think?

If there is one thing that I can change about the Rocket it would be "playing down to the competition". Well that and the iso offense. :)

Not that it matters, but if we beat Denver tomorrow, and Minnesota loses to Milwaukee Saturday, we could pull ahead of them momentarily and tie Dallas for best record in the Midwest (assuming Dallas beats Philly, which is likely.)

Tonight's game is the perfect game for the Rockets to lose.

It is on the road and the Rockets had a close game (although it shouldn't have been that way) the night before plus the Nuggets may have confidence that they can beat the Rockets on their home floor since they only lost to them by 6 in Houston.

This is the type of game that the Rockets would have lost last season; we will see if they have progressed from last season.

after 12 games if we can be 7-5, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Ofcourse, 8-4 would be nice, but we can't get to greedy. Man, I really miss Mo getting us out of the blocks like he did many times last season. Not having Mo in there, gives us one less dimension that we had last year. If Rice could really pick up his game, it would help compensate for Mo's absense. Does anyone know if theres a outside chance he may return.

I'll be at tonight's game in Denver. Let me tell you, this will not be an easy victory for the Rockets. Van Exel called a team meeting after last nights loss to Dallas, and I think Denver is ready for a home game. The Rockets have an advantage in the guard postions, small forward and the power forward spot, but it always seems like Raef is the guy who screws us over. The Rockets are also coming off of poor shooting games, so maybe this game will end the drought. I'm predicting a Rockets win, but it will be a damn close one.
By the way...I'll be in the second row courtside, and probably the loudest Rocket fan in the Pepsi Center!!!

Winning the second game of a back-to-back on the road is always tough, for any team. Add in the altitude in Denver and the advantage goes firmly into Denver's court.

If the Rockets win, it will be an upset.

Phoenix was the 2nd game of a back to back.

The Rockets are a better team, and they should act like it and take care of business.

It should be a Rocky Mountain high after we win.

I don't know, the BCS doesn't really like it when you beat bad teams. Plus it will be tough with the Spurs and Mavs in our own division to get a bid. Boy do we need a playoff...

I'm sure van Exel's little speech may have "fired up" his teammates, but anytime you have to call a team meeting 5 or 6 games into the season...well, there could be trouble.

At least Denver also played a game yesterday. However, they're coming off a loss and we might be complacent coming off a win. Hopefully, the Rockets will still come in hungry.

This is what I feared, now we need to come out haed against the coming up elite geared up and ready to play some real basketball.During this small break we need to get are **** together so we dont go under .500 after a nice start.

I have confidence we cant beat these team we are just going to have to come out and play the ball that we know how, lets get the ball moving and get some players involved.
