I am the only one who thinks we need that?

Of our roster only Scola is a real NBA starter, and the other bigs consists mainly in Landry and Hayes. We depend on how some rookies do, and then there is Brian Cook that i count even below Dorsey.

I would like to add a vet that can give us at least 10 mins a night of solid playing, not a big star, but a center like Elson or Oberto, someone you know can defend the post at least and have some offensive moves.

    one MORE big vet???

we've got 16 on the roster so far...

no one is going to take on cook and his r****ded contract.

I agree we need another vet on this team, on something like a minimum contract to guide our young guys along next season to make them more polished instead of just undisciplined rushing and chucking.

i love love love Scola but if Morey's plan is to rebuild, he should be traded with a younger talent.

I would like to get Powe for the right price, if healthy.

What's with him not being signed somewhere already? I can only
assume there are concerns about the knee.

I wanted Chris Wilcox but now thats not going to happen...at this point I rather just develop what we have nothing left is worth wasting money on!

mikki moore is totally useless...he might be able to play 5 mins for a title contender...but hes probably even going to be worse than joey dorsey...

I'd rather sign that cousins guy from UH than Mikki Moore.

dont forget brian cook is a vet. and hes big. in every direction,

again, joey dorsey might be a defensive post man/big man, but he's still basically a rookie. I think Odom is more skilled than dorsey.

moore had some glory days back when he played for like the nets in 06 and sac in 07.

eventually rockets fans have to accept this fact. i LOVE scola too. and i would love to see him become a career rocket.

that said. he may be a VERY attractive piece in a trade for a future star. morey knows this.

just think about the celtics... morey continued to acquire young talent and attractive pieces so that they could eventually make a deal to land a big star, ala KG. morey will continue to do the same here.

what i'm most interested in seeing is how morey handles the contract negotiations/futures of tmac and yao with the rockets.

I wouldn't mind trading Scola at all if it meant we'd get star talent back in return...

but the thing is he's not young enough to appeal to rebuidling teams and not good enough to let contenders give up serious talent.

man lets keep the only legit PF we've had since like...um..I cant even remember the last time we had a legit PF...CHARLES BARKLEY???

i think the rocket owe it to scola to let him have a season where he's the star.

He was the most consistent rocket this season in my opinion.

I know a vet who's fairly big...but more in terms of weight than height. Plus he spends most of his time caring for animals. Not sure how many minutes he could provide.

No reason to move Scola in my opinion. We aren't going anywhere this year, and we already have young talent to develop. Let Scola have a good year and lead the youngsters this year, and then win it all the following year.
