Steve is averaging 30ppg. Cat 23ppg. Next, Eddie Griffin at 10!! We really need someone else to help out the best backcourt duo in the league, imo. Mo Taylor can and will do that. He's got a great shot... which is good because Francis and Cat can drive and dish and have someone to pass it to. Rice needs to prove his worth, or we should get rid of him. I know he hasn't been playing but imo he's playing days are over. Good thing we got Nachbar. We need MO Taylor back, then our offense should look a lot better.;)

Yeah, but how long will it take taylor to get back into game conditon. He did miss an entire season and he is going to be extremely rusty.

A-Train... the only thing that will suck is your PMS society. I'll be your nemesis. I'm the president of the Optimistic Society.

Some people on this board are acting like Taylor is going to be the savior of this team or something. I'd still rather have EG out there because in the end, EG brings more to the table such as rebounding, and blocked shots. I believe a big issue that remains with this team is defense, and MoT is a defensive liability out there and he's never been able to rebound. The issue of MoT coming back is overrated.

I'm not stating that Mo Taylor is going to save us. I don't think we need to be "saved". It doesn't make sense. All I'm saying is that he will help us out because no one is making crap except our 1 and 2. EG can't hit much so far, KT can't hit crap either. Look I know Mo Taylor is not an all-star caliber player, but he will give us some shots to fall. Can't say that about EG or KT so far.

Yea, it's a good thing we have him...

Seriously, it is. I think he may have reinjured himself though, because surely Rudy would have played him some.

My prediction: If Mo taylor does not perform well the first game back, "Mo taylor Sucks" thread will appear. It's just the trend here to base everything off of a few games early in the season.

Here is what will happen when Mo comes back.

He will be rusty on the court and basically suck for a period of time. Then some unknowledgeable posters will post that he sucks and thus will make a rediculous trade offer like MoT for Theo Ratliff. Then Mo will start to find his groove, then these same unknowledgeable posters will find something else to gripe about.

MoT will bring something to the table too,,(if he dosnt eat it first)...offensive cohesieveness...26% in the Clutch Poll feel this is the Rockets biggest problem this year. That is why you have vets on the team, instead of all prospects....:p

MoT will have a significant impact on the Rockets Offense. Considering Houston doesn't have a single offensive threat from either post, adding MoT can only open up the floor for the other players.

Even coming off the bench he'll be useful. The difference with MoT and other players is the he's a proven offensive weapon and will force defenses to adjust how they play the Rockets...including Francis and Mobley.
