Does anyone else agree with me? He helps our team stay together coming off the bench and I think he's a very important part of our rotation. I think when he returns our team will compete better with the elite teams I know its not a huge difference but hes one of our x-factors.

Yeah I agree. I've been saying this since he got shot. He brings lots of intangibles to this team, his energy and dunks demoralize the other team- plus he's a great free throw shooter and is the only athletic guy in our frontcourt. We really miss Landry's dunks and rebounding.

Without him we're like the 5th or 6th best team in the Western Conference.

With him we're the 2nd or 3rd best team.

Definitely. It's not bad enough that you lose a Tracy McGrady early in the season, Artest is injured part of the way through, and then you lose Carl Landry for a while. Carl, lately, has been shooting great this year, 9.3ppg at 57% in 21 minutes, he's been great and he brings muscle and quickness, not to mention an alternative to Yao and Scola. Hope to see him back real soon.

Obviously you're not talking about TMAC because neither of his names end with an M, is it a Tim or Tom?

Who is the mystery player that we need?

    Free agent target? D-League superstar?

We need Landry back! He helps out the team so much with his rebounding and his explosive dunks with great hustle!

Seriously Landry not being there cost us the Phoenix game....

Unreal how unlucky this team is sometimes.

The loss of Landry is certainly hurting the Rockets but I fear his return won't elevate this team as much as we would like.

Flesh wounds no matter how minor they say it is, sounds serious enough to where he'll need some recovery time even after being able to suit up. The mental factor will definitely be there as well. There have been a number of athlete that have gone through personal situations similar to his that were never quite the same person again. For the ones that did come back, it took them some time to get back to their normal selves. I think Landry's mere presence will inspire this team a few wins, but I don't think his impact when he returns will be the same like if he were not shot at all.
