we need a three shooter if we want champion.
fore lake own shake and kobe just like we own yao and tmc.but fore lake own horry and fisher too.since horry shoot bad, lake cant win champion.losing excellent shooter seriously hurt lake .LA only by shake and kobe can win most of teams, but face to king and spur ,at last shake and kobe were exhausted, horry and fisher'game ball overthrow opponent.similarly when yao and TMC is tired and die hard defended inside,we need someone give the decisive word outside.but now there is not an firmly three shooter to game ball in team.maby JJ? i wish he is.but i worry about his age and only he. another good shooter player is we need if we want champion.

jjryulee is branching out I see.

Jackson can hit the three and Lue can hit the three. When you have guys like Yao and T-Mac getting all the attention, it is much easier for other guys to shoot the three ball because they are open.

And a word of advice jjryulee, the "Rocket's Game Action and Roster Moves" forum is much more strict about starting new threads than the Hangout, because there are much more people that post in here. Unless you have a news story or an idea that is unique enough to deserve it's own thread, you are better off responding in another thread instead of starting one your own. There are a lot of threads in which you could have expressed this sentiment.

I'm not saying the you shouldn't have posted a new thread, but it is important to be mindful about posting thing unnecessarily.

all this is good advice jjryulee.....one othe thing I wanted to mention....in the interest of clarity.....proofread your post before you submit, in this case "shake" should have read Shaq....

now, on to your point....while good 3 point shooters are important to any team....dont discount how effective a good midrange shooter can be...we have several guys that can hit a good percentage from midrange out to the arc...Tmac, JJ, Lue, Sura, Jackson and both Mo and Howard are known good midrange shooters.
While Mo and Howard arent good out to 3 point range....their ability to hit the mid shot should not be discounted when thinking of effective offensive weapons.

Since the thread about 3 point shooting has already been established, the Rockets should offer the full MLE to Vladmir Radmanovic after next season. He's a very good 3 point shooter, and he wants to play the SF spot rather than the PF spot he is currently inhabiting.

Boki is destined for a team that likes to run and gun. I see him going to the Suns after next season since his old coach from Italy is there, and Nash is a very good point guard who can get out on the fastbreak. Boki does not fit in a slowdown inside-out offense in which he is primarily a 3 point shooter.

ward, jj, and tmac can all shoot out the lights. lue and boki are ok. sura is good mid-range, as is mo, howard and yao.

Give the guy a break. It's obvious that English is not his first language.

Good overall shooter >> good 3 pt shooter >> modern lame ass dunk artist.

Alex English in his prime would kick Carmelo's butt. Plain and simple. But they don't make shooters that way anymore.

They all want to dunk like dandies and shoot bricks..

    David.

    real freaking classsy... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

if you had checked around(especially in the Hangout) you would have seen that he has talked about not being very good at English, but he wants to get better....he was encouraged to go ahead and participate anyway and to try his best...

    and this is the response?

    you sir...are a colossal ass.

jjryulee.....ignore this putz tigeropenmouthinsertknee...he doesnt speak for even a small minority of the members here..

i think it is great you try to learn english better, this is a great way, English isn´t my first language either.

About your point, i think we can use a good three point shooter. but JJ is pretty good, and Lue also. But i woudn´t mind adding one more. But we will see how the team wil do. Our mid range shot is pretty good and that is also usefull
