Its become obvious that we dont practice situational defense...Paul Milsap by himself killed us...How bout trapping Deron Williams as soon as he passes half court...You know :GET THE BALL OUTTA HIS HANDS!!!....enable someone else to beat us...just a thought....at least the Texans allows other talentless people to beat us...Coach Adelman should hire someone like Gary Payton to show our slew footed guards to man up on ballhandlers and use their feet...I mean pick n rolls still our kryptonite...really?????...And why not play Jeffries a lil when we up in the beginning of the 2nd half because that seems to be when we decide to allow teams to play AND 1 streetball....yeah Im pissed....mainly because I forgot about the Jets game because of this BS game....ok Im done...holla
Good defenders would help, but a good defensive coach will make his team play defense. I have faith in RA, except for defense, and he's really sucking at it this year.
can you imagine our frontcourt defense if that happened.....Miller=Pollard (lay a good hard foul but cant do much else)....Battier=Quinn (doesnt get picked on much , until they realize he sucks too).....Scola= Wilson (terrible while in zone and doesnt have enough lateral quickness to make up for defensive lapses)...Frank BUSH ...love it mane...lol
Biggest problem is the pick and roll; ESPECIALLY with Luis Scola. He stays on the PG on the screen for too long and doesn't get back on the big man. Millsap killed us with midrange every time Scola left for too long. You would usually expect defensive rotation from the other big man on your team but you can't expect much if the other guy is Brad Miller.
