The Rockets played a good game but just couldnt pull it through. I really do believe that if CAT was there we would have another option to go with. He was killing them at the first game in Dallas.

And for all you people that voted on Francis having the ball in his hands at the end got your wish, but he had a crucial turnover and a miss from way deep that could have tied the game. I also thought he dribbled and dribbled and dribbled too much this game.

Dream had a great game tonight but can anyone tell me why he wasnt in the game the last 1:15? Was he that tired? And why did the guys lose their composure and get all those technical fouls? Also why all of a sudden are we missing all of these free throws and at crunchtime?

Anyway we now need to win the next few games leading up to Phoenix, and we need some help from Minnesota in going on a super losing streak.

We did miss Cuttino, but then again he does dribble and dribble and dribble a lot so maybe we didn't miss him!? [IMG]

Francis is the franchise player now... The ball goes to and through him. As point he can dictate the final plays- inside to Dream, out side to Wilt, take his own shot. Sometime u win, some times u lose- the ball didn't fall tonight but the odds are that it usually will. "Rudyball" dictates follow the hot hand- lol- tonight it was Hakeem- Hmmmmm.... where was he?

Maybe they missed him, but they were still well in control in the fourth quarter, before the Mavs started practicing layups on them. How many dunks did Dirk have? Four? You just can't have that, and Cuttino would not have made a difference in that department.

The end of the game proved why we need Cuttino. Steve had a huge turnover and then took a way-too-deep three. It was kinda reminiscent of when Cat jacked up a 3 at the end of the San Antonio game. I seem to remember every BBSers complaining. Lets see if everybody will b**** about Steve, doubt it.
Hope Cat gets healthy. He should be, he will have a full week to rest

The problem was not Cuttino not being there, the Rockets should have won this game, Cuttino or no Cuttino. Francis did dribble the ball to much at times, I guess some of Mobley's habits have rubbed off on him. It was just poor execution all alround in the forth quarter. The Rockets gave them the game.

I think Steve was a total twit. He blew it big time with a brick and a turnover in the last minute. I can understand A brick or A turnover, but not both. Also, what happened to Hakeem? He used to shoot 70 percent! Not anymore.

He had a good look and missed. You can't ask for anything more. Dream was very unclutch with his free throws despite his AWESOME game. ZRB, I think we wouldnt have had a chance without Steve.Stop being so negative.

I believe you're talking about the Utah game, and the reason I complained was because Cuttino shot a long 3 when the rockets had a timeout, unlike tonight, and on a night where he was shooting the ball horribly. Steve shot a long 3 but it was wide open, he had his feet set, and the rockets didnt have a timeout. He got a good look and he missed. You can't b**** about that, you have to live with it.

Francis' 3 was long as well, and do you call shooting 7-20, shooting well. Steve shot was contested just as much as Cats was. You are right that the Rockets had had a TO against Utah, but Steve still made a costly turnover Mobley is likely not to make. Atleast Mobes will get a shot off.

Playing the devil's advocate then can you explain the dribble off the foot when he was all by himself? I mean if it were the Cat that did that then he would have been trashed all over the BBS.

No he wouldnt have made a difference in that dept but offensively he could have put a whole lot of pressure on them to either get to the rim or kick it out to the wide open shooter. He could have also defended Finley better than the Gizzard.

That was a stupid ass play, but that's not the play we were talking about. We were talking about the last shot. Also, I dont know how I can "explain" the play where he dribbled off his foot. It was a bad play, end of story. You are right, the BBS would probably be all over Cuttino if he did the same thing.

I don't think Cat was at the game.He was probably getting his ankle treated. To show how much he means to this team, his mere prescence on the bench would have made an impact. He instills confidence in everyone around him. You could see that in the Milwaukee game

I was at the game and I am almost positive I saw Cat talking to Bill and Calvin before the game wearing a blue t-shirt. I saw him and then looked at my son(a mavericks fan) and said damn it looks like Cat is not playing tonight. So I am pretty sure he was there.

Cat was at the game. I watched it on NBA league pass and it was FSN for the Mavericks. Their sideline announcer asked Mobley what is injury exactly was. Cat said a strain in his arch. Also, after the game, Cat was patting the players on the back trying to make them feel better. I still believe the Rocks coulda and shoulda won this game, Cat or no Cat, and two dumb plays Francis or not.

Wow I just read Clutch's recap and he actually gave Cuttino his props. He said that in this game it was evident on how important Cats role is for the Rox.

I cant believe it. Now I know we will make the playoffs. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
