Rockets select Nicolas Batum Draft Express

That makes me even happier to know we busted the Spurs.

I think San Antonio screwed us. I think they put that story out there to get us to take this kid. I don't see it. I can't see him contributing to this team for a couple years. I'm disappointed.

    Prove me wrong again, Morey.

CDR, CHALMERS, HILL, DONTE GREENE, DARRELL ARTHUR

I'd rather have any of them than Batum.

Maybe we picked him for somebody else??

Prove me wrong again, Morey. I'm trusting you. I do not see this kid helping the Houston Rockets.

    Prove me wrong again, Morey.

Yeah Maybe. I certainly thought that last year when we stole Scola. On the other side it was the worst kept secret of the draft. Everyone knew Batum was being influenced by fellow Frenchman TP to try and manipulate his position. Morey so right thru their charade and stole a lottery pick. This kid will be contribute next year. He has a good attitude and is one of the most athletic players in the draft. His shot needs work but it is not bad.

Then again I don't think the Spurs have had a good draft since Parker and Ginobili.

I could care less about the Spurs plans.

I was drooling to have out pick between Douglas-Roberts, Chalmers, or Arthur. I would have be thrilled with any one of those players.

Instead Mr. Morey decides to get creative. Why?
