From sohu sports The journalist say he has a very precise message, Rockets will carry out a transaction before the deadline , Artest is likely to be involved in transactions, because Rockets are not satisfied with the management of sick and wounded him repeatedly.
It's bad to say goodbye to Artest, now rumour says tmac may out for about more than one year, so there is no problem of our team, we played very when tmac is out.
Good bye Ron Ron. Thank you for all the passion and power you have brought to this city. I'm impressed you always give everything you have on the court no matter how the team is suffering from those ridiculous injuries. And...Good luck and enjoy your days in the new team.
Who were you want to get back?LBJ,CP3? I curse you guys who just wanna trade Ron but having no significative opinion about the trade.
Not that I think this thread should be considered believable, but... If they trade Ron, rather than meaning he's given up on the season, it probably means that Morey's given up on being able to resign Artest next year and wants to get some value from him/his contract. Which probably also means he's given up on being able to move McGrady.
Let me get this Straight!!!!!!! Ron Artest plays on bad ankles and thru pain. Management needs to stop blowing smoke T-Mac and Luther Head are the only ones that need to leave. When we get rrid of Artest what we are going to find out about Ron is that the games he was sitting out was done to motivate T-mac to get off his lazy 23million making a year behind and play at least on one end of the court. Fellow Rox fans this is not right. Ron Artest has helped us in all the major victories but he is only Human. You can't ask him to tear his body up while T-mac waits for him to drop out physically so that he can seize the opportunity by coming back and putting on the appearence that he is here to save the day.
1) You're not going to be able to move McGrady and/or you think you'll get more value from him next year 2) You're looking towards resigning Yao when his contract expires 3) Artest's probably asking for somewhere around $12 - 15MM to resign So, you're not going to resign Artest. He disappears after the season. Do you still play the loyalty card or do you try to get some value from him when you can? If it's me, and the right player/package becomes available, I'd go for it...
And who do you presume would take on Tracy's contract for the type of production he's been putting out?
Take it easy, mate. Did I say I want to get back LBJ, CP3 or plays like that? I just reckon Artest's contract will expire in summer and we can trade him now instead of losing him for nothing. Do you think Yao&Artest can win a championship? Do you think the Rockets will resign him and how much?
