If we lose Utah and Utah win San Antonio, we might lose home advantage because we both 55-27 and Utah win two but we won 1. Is it correct?

Yes. If Utah wins out, they'll have the Home Court Advantage. I'm sure this has been mentioned elsewhere.

if Shane, BJ, & Rafer dont come back for the Clippers game, we may drop to #6. Let's just worry about winning games instead HC advantage or seeding.

Well it would be the worst scenario.

But even if we lose tonight (we gotta win) we will have a big chance of still having HCA.

We can beat Clipps, no doubt and there is a big chance SA will beat Jazz.

The thread title should read " We probably lost HCA "

Isn't that assuming everyone wins out?

We still technically have a chance at the 1st seed, i think.

It doesn't matter anyway winning this many games should be an accomplishment. It will be hard to beat any team we play, the nuggets showed that.

HCA is the "only" hope of beating Utah, and remember, it wasn't enough last year with Yao. Utah beats everybody at home. Unfortunately, the Rockets will get another illustration of this tonight. Denver was the winnable game. Old habits die hard. The Rockets undoing is their collective tendancy to "let up" once they have secured a perceived goal. Remember the "first seed" was realistically within reach. For some reason, they were happy with "less."

Well last year we had Yao ok, but we didn't have some crucial things, aspects of the game which we have now.

But you are right, HCA is the only way to beat them.

Rafer's injury worries me more than HCA. We're going to have a bunch of people limping around in the playoffs. :( :( :(

Rockets are one of the only teams to be Utah in their house this year. Granted T-Mac exploded for 47 points.

The only way the Jazz get HCA is if they beat the Spurs on the road or we lose our next 2 games. I don't see us losing to the Clippers at home, so its all up to the Jazz to win out. If that Happens, the West most likely will end up:

    1. Lakers
    2. Hornets
    3. Jazz
    4. Spurs
    5. Rockets
    6. Suns
    7. Mavs
    8. Nuggets

Do they REALLY want to play the Suns with HCA? Or us the pretenders without HCA? Pick your poison.

if you are JAZZ or SPUR which team you want to play? Sun or us,
for sure, if we lost tonight, either JAZZ OR SPUR want to lost final game in order to play us, which means we have a choice to make which team we want to play by win or lost to clipper
