In a completely heterosexual way, of course. Seriously, let's give it up to quite possibly the most misunderstood player in the NBA. The guy has been nothing but a class act in Houston, and I hope we re-up him shortly after the playoffs are over. His style of play, while sometimes erratic is something that any team can appreciate. I regret what happened to him a few years ago in Detroit, and I honestly thought he should probably never play in the NBA again, but here tonight, I will willingly eat my portion of crow. The guy has matured and now seems to be a leader that would be an asset on most teams. The way he has handled things tonight is something that I could only aspire to do. I would never be as calm and smart about it as he has. I can't speak enough on how much respect I've gained for Ron tonight. Show some love Clutchfans.
I don't think he played smart in the fourth quarter, and he let his emotions get the best of him in the end. He did have nice first 3 quarters, though. Helped keep us in the game.
i gotta respect ron after tonight. he IS the identity of this team. we follow his toughness and how he plays. he may not be our best player, but this team has his identity written ALL OVER IT.
Absolutely. Imagine the situation we would have been in tonight without Ron. At one point in the third.... Yao had 2 points. 2. We shouldn't even have been in this game.
Sorry durvasa, that's just not how I see it. Did you see his post game interviews? He comes across as one of the most humble and real players in the NBA. He's also, very intelligent. Occasionally he makes some schoolyard mistakes on the court, but I'll take the good that he brings to this team over the bad. He's certainly not CRAZY or a THUG that most people think he is. Maybe when he was younger (he admitted so himself), but not anymore. He's a mature person now.
this team plays with no fear. and it doesn't take cheap crap from the other team. this was the best loss of the post season for us.
If Ron doesn't go after Kobe that elbow is never mentioned or shown again except on this forum. The game was essentially over. Yao was trash tonight and nobody else was doing much better. Ron may have forced the league to look at something and take care of it before it hurt the Rockets again in a close game. Go Ron!!!
it's hard to keep your cool when someone elbows you in the throat on purpose. i dont blame him for what he did. i dont care where you are in that kind of situation.
Ron Artest can play with Barkley! lol TNT is showing mad love to Ron Ron tonight. The tru warier is a beast and is a true testament to how basketball should be played. MANS GAME b****!!!! as Jim Rome would say.
I completely disagree. Ron HAD to do what he did and you can tell on Inside the NBA that Kenny and Charles know that Ron was in the right.
