Didn't notice a subject devoted to tonight's game so here is one.

This is our chance to at least even the series at 2 each, which is what we did last year. If our shots are falling, i like our chances. LA's transistion defense is not so hot so here's hoping we fast-break their asses all over the court.

We need to close that gap between us and Minnesota and Denver all while keeping Seattle behind us. We're in great shape to make a post All-Star Break run for the playoffs. While I'm not sure if we are going to win the 52 games that predicted last summer, I'm confident that we will still make the playoffs. I guess we'd have to win 3 games for every loss just to reach 50. not impossible in the least but most likely improbable.

    SpaceCity = Calvin Murphy?

    That sounded awfully familiar.

    Just wondering,

Now that would be a pleasant surprise to everyone here.

How funny would that be for Murph to be 'that guy who's been here since 96 and always seems put an optimistic spin to all situations!'

    Nope. He ain't I.

To the Topic at hand, I just don't see it. [IMG]
Shaq (assuming Kobe gives him the
ball) goes off for 50+. I think we need
Charles B. to unretire just for tonight.

How do you explain us holding Shaq to lower numbers in at least 2 games this year so far?

Kobe's been the Rocket-killer this year, not Shaq.

Did Dream or Collier or Mo play in those games? I am the biggest supporter of KT, but is HE supposed to contain Shaq tonight? Hopefully Kobe won't get him the ball, but since the media went feud crazy, Shaq has been putting up very good numbers. I don't see that changing tonight.

Didn't Vancouver march into LA and almost beat the Lakers? In fact, as far as I'm concerned, they won that game. That may not be important in the standings since it says LA wins, but it's important in the fact that LA is vulnerable. I don't know who's going to stop Kobe, but who's going to stop Francis and Mobley? Walt hopefully will come alive. We definitely need Mo tonight, it's going to be a battle. We could use Cato and Dream, most of all WE NEED PIG!

Rocket fans UNITE to bring Pig Miller back home! WE NEED PIG! OINK! OINK! OINK!

Tonight could be the largest Rocket loss in history. Without any servicable centers, I expect Shaq to score 70+ points. Kobe will burn the Rockets as usual, and the role players will step up. I expect the Lakers defensively to shut down the Rockets. I am not kidding with my final score prediction:

    Rockets 68
    Lakers 127
    a 59 point removal

Uh, Ill take some of that action...

    60 points!!??? [IMG]

Maybe if Cat and Steve both go down, otherwise, forget about it. I think the Rockets actually have a sniff at winning this one. Not likely, but they sure wont get blown out by that margin.

If Hakeem is healthy why don't we activate his ass for tonights game? It is obvious Cato is out for a while so just put him on the IR. So Hakeem hasn't practiced. Who cares. Cato hasn't done crap in games. Why not have Hakeem on the active roster, fly him out tonight, and use him for defensive purposes if he is healthy. Maybe this will shut all this controversy up. Everyday they delay activating him it gets worse. When he was playing all the talk wasn't nearly this bad. We need a big man tonight. If he is healthy we should have activated him. It makes no sense to me why you have a two practice rule when there is someone on the roster who can't play at all.
