Our players share the blames for losing this game, but I got to say officiating SUCKS!

Yao's 4th foul was a lousy flopping perfermance by Dirk and refs totally bought it. Every time we had a bit momentum going our way, refs took Yao out of the game. Every time we touch mavs on the perimeter, we were called fouls. But Tmac got bumped, held, pushed every trip down the court, and refs refuse to give him any star treatment.

Since Cuban complained about Yao's screen, and got a favor from NBA, WE GOT TO COME OUT STRONG AND CALL OUT THOSE FLOPPERS AND STUPID REFS! It seems to be you only get a fair treatment if you complain. NBA has a lot to lose if it tick off our fans. Someone has to tell Yao team to come out complain to his fans in China and plead them not to buy NBA merchandise until he get fair treatment! David Stern will listen then.

You are absolutely right canoner...those were huge momentum changers...the Mavs are a deep team, and let's face it, our bench has a lot guts and heart, but they're not as talented. So when Yao gets taken out like due to foul trouble, it means so much more offensively to us than the Mavs; offensively we can't consistently trade baskets, so when the Rockets are on the an offensive run, they really have to milk for as much as it's worth. I just can't believe the refs in game 4...words fail to describe how much I feel they steered the course of the game.

For some reason they think they got shafted...
we had 28 fouls they had 22
they had 27 fts we had 26

The refs need to be shot. The gave Houston so many calls. Touch fouls and quick whistles against the Mavs, late whistles and damn near rapeage for the Rockets.

And my squad still pulled it out.

    Peace

It's tought to win when playing 5 on 8. And that's what the Rockets had to do on 3 out of the 4 games so far. The only game the refs did a good job was game 2.

Yao had maybe 2 bad calls against him... I think all were offensive, but he also has to stop with the obvious fouls ie) moving into a slashers path at the last second, moving picks. He was doing great swatting shots and doing like Deke.

Yao has to call out the refs after this game. Forget about everyone else. Yao has tried the nice guy routine and it's NOT WORKING.He needs to get fine for commenting about how bias the refs are. We are in desperate times, Yao. DO SOMETHING.

You know, Yao almost never gets the 50/50 calls. They almost always go against him. It sucks.

But you've got to wonder: at this point, why does he still expect it? he has to realize that if he does something that's arguably a foul...he'll get called.

    Stop committing fouls, Yao[/b[.

This was the worst-officiated game I've seen since Kings-Lakers WCF Game 6 several years ago.

And what do you know... DICK BAVETTA was calling the game again! Couldn't be that he's been the worst official for the last decade or anything... nope, just coincidence, surely.

If you minus those 2 bad fouls on Yao, then Yao would've play more, and not in foul trouble anymore. That's a huge difference plus or minus those 2 fouls.

Yao did move into his player on that screen, and Deke set a moving screen as well.

I think the bad call came when Dirk mugged Yao, and another time when he traveled.

But I've seen many worse officiated games, and the calls weren't really what made the difference.

2 bad calls are more than enough to change his and Rocket's games. The obvious thing is Dirk NEVER gets bad calls, and refs buy EVERY flop he performs! So don't preach us on how refs are not a factor here.

I will never forget LAKERS is the fake champion of 2002....

    I hate refs since then.

If it's not yao, I won't watch stupid NBA at all....

    NBA is just refs' joke....

Dirk has made himself into my most hated (current) player in the league. The guy never even plays basketball anymore... all he does is drive to the hole, jump into someone and contort his body like he got hit, and then looks like the ref just burned down his f***ing house if there's no call (which rarely happens these days).

Dirk's moving screen that he set should've been called. That would've been 5 on him in the late 3rd quarter and Avery wouldve had to pull him out. It's bullsh*t to me if you're going to call moving screens on the Rockets, and not turn around and do the same for the opposing team.

    But whatever.... F*ck them

If you want to get the calls then for Chrissake START ATTACKING THE F'ing HOOP! The Mavs are doing it on a consistent basis while the Rockets start out trying to attack from the post but then drift away and settle for jumpshots. I thought both TMac and Yao passed the ball too much instead taking it to the hoop and drawing the foul. And don't get me started about the pitiful passing...

Look at most screens set in the NBA, over half of them are technically moving picks. The thing is, a foul should be called when you are gaining an advantage from a deliberate attempt to move INTO the defender. If you are drifting a little bit because of momentum etc, let the play go. Thats how its been in the NBA for the past 20 years or so.(As long as I have been watching)

When you send an email to the NBA do they actually read it, forward it somewhere or just trash it?

I just sent them an email..
They can ignore me if I am the only one who e-mails them but maybe when their box will be filled up with thousands of emails about how the refs are biased maybe they will take some note...anything might help...

Come on, mavs sets screens much more moving than that. How about the trap when they double Tmac? There were bumps every time and they only called one foul on Dirk. The second time Dirk almost bumped Tmac to the floor and no call. JVG needs to tell Tmac "hit the floor if they bump you". I cannot believe I am saying this, but it seems there is no room for straight players in this league.

You are hypocrite. How many points we scored in the paint? How many did Mavs get? Are you blind or what? Mavs hit more jumpers than we did. And what does this have to do buying Dirk's lousy flopping perfermance and refusing to call his fouls?
