Whilst I mostly agree with you, I do think it's time to move on from Jalen or FVV at least. We can't continue with that back court, I am however more in the "run it mostly back" camp more than the trade for a superstar camp. Not because I don't want the superstar, I do and we need one, but not at the cost of gutting the team and that's what'll happen.
If Ime integrates the bench more (Cam and Reed) , then I'm with running it back.. But if he stays with the bs , then gone and pivot and trade for the star... No need to sit on players that can make us even more lethal.. We have the roster to give teams 48 minutes of hell IMO

Pretty much, some impatient fans want to trade or gut the team for the next shiny player. Some fans wanted to trade Sengun early on due to defense, but those that were patient saw him get better, develop into a quality defender under great coaching and make an all star team. Some fans though Amen was a poor choice with a broken shot, but patience paid off as he made a first team all defensive team, doubled his three point percentage, started hitting midrange shots and is an upcoming star. People were dying during the tanking process for years, but we patiently accumulated talent then jumped up +19 and +11 wins over the past two years from worst team in the league to #2 seed, one of the most improved in the NBA. We haven't even tapped into Cam or Reed's potential or made our #10 pick this year. They are 22 years old and our coaching and leadership has done great this rebuild, let them grow.
I am against banning of any sort. Let the people post. I got banned for nothing more than not drinking the kool aid at the trade deadline and saying we’d get kicked out in the first round because of Stone’s ineptitude as a general manager. Fred joined a team coming off a 22 win season and two years later they win 52 games. I have no problem with the Rockets moving on from Fred, but I think Fred was a big part of the Rockets success the past two seasons. Fred is not an elite point guard, but who do you want to replace him with? Maybe easier said than done. The Rockets have a lot of areas to improve on other than just Fred.
Fred was a blessing and curse. Time to take a back seat or upgrade. Amen should start so we can slide another guy like Bari in. Fred can come off the bench as a stabilizer but I’d rather swing for Ty Jerome for that role
I'm not really a FVV fan at all, but in the two season w the Rockets when he is out of the lineup the team struggles. I believe this season they went on a 6 game losing streak w him out, without him stepping up in the first round theres no way they take the Warriors to 7. That said, we need an upgrade badly. I don't think Amen or Reed will be able to help us enough at the PG position next season.
