I've been thinking since the draft and I've come up with one fact. WE DON'T NEED SHANDON ANDERSON. There is one thing Anderson is going to do for this team. Eat up cap space. I love the guy's attitude and love for the game, but Anderson adds very little to the chemistry of the Rockets. He brings decent defense, but for the money he is going to ask for, I doubt he will be on the roster come Game #1. Griffin will likely be the starter with his quickness and defense, with "The Wiz" coming off the bench. Unless the Rockets trade or waive Langhi, who is prospected to be a Matt Bullard type shooter with the quickness to drive the lane and a manageable salary to boot, Shandon Anderson is clearly the odd man out unless he really wants to be a Rocket and accept a contract very similar to the one when he became a Rocket. Don't be suprised to see the Rockets pick up a backup center(most likely) or possibly anoter power forward(Pig Miller?) to shore up their inside presence. Just a drunk hunch. So drunk I posted it in the wrong damn forum!!!!! ------------------ Anger is a weed. Hate is a tree. [This message has been edited by RocketsPimp (edited June 30, 2001).]
