We could really use a player like Matt Bullard or Robert Horry right about now?

These are the type of Players that regardless how cold a team might be shooting will always make a shot usaully three pointers to keep our team in the game and maybe even win it. I was shocked at how many open 3's we misssed yesterday and was remembering the times when we needed a clutch hit we had a bullard, elie, horry, or maxwell that would keep us in the game. We dont have that type of player anymore. Hell even matt malonie hit clutch shots every once in a while. Unfortunately Matt Bullard just recently retired, Ming could feed fim all day.

We already have Glenn Rice, Griffin, and Mobley who can shoot the 3. What the Rockets need is a guy who can create his own shot. Right now Francis can do that and Yao has the potential. Nobody else can do it consistently.

I agree that we have plenty of 3 point shooters. We just dont have any that will make the 3's regardless of what the score is or how much time is left in the game and how many hands he has in his face...

You want The Bull? Why don't you just throw in Shaq and Kobe, too? Maybe Gary Peyton to back up Franchise???

Look man, keep dreaming. Players as amazing as Matt don't come back after being kicked in the ass.

Man, just hearing his name mentioned on this board gives me goosebumps.

I think a player terrific for that is a guy who when the Mavs were stinking it up on the court with Dirk for 1-9 and Finley 1-9 he came and and brought them out of a slump and scored 18 off the bench with some 3's to come with it. His name is Walt Williams. Woooopss almost forgot he has been through this route. Guys like this aren't hard to find the problem is its hard to get them to come to a team in the rebuilding mode. walt went to Mavs for the exception. I doubt he would coem here for the same price.

Matt Bullard was not asking for much money the Rockets could have kept him if they reallly wanted him but decided not too. the nba has quite a few clutch players that always rise to the ocassion when in need (bullard, horry, elie) these players do not require a lot of money or playing time, they know their roles and this is what we need. I am not dreaming of gettin kobe,garnett,duncan,etc... Just a clutch role player. Maybe Nachbar is the answer but with Rudy at the helm we will never know.
