There is only one team stumbling worse than we are. That is the Pheonix Suns. The only way we get into the playoffs is if the Suns continue to play like they do. I've notice when we lose the Suns lose worse, and to a worse team. We should offer The Clips Griffin, Bokie, and Maddux for Brand and Piakowskie? How does that sound.

Why the Clips accept: Brand is going to Jet anyway and they know that so they might as well get some Youth with potential back. Plus the Clips know they wont make the playoffs and they need to tank to get into the LeBron Sweepstakes.

Houston Needs imidiate help at the 4: Brand brings Rebounding, Defense and much needed offence in the front line, that = less double teams for YAO!!!! Piakowskie brings clutch 3 point shooting and experience.

The only downside i see is that Brand may jet from the Rockets if he comes here the next season. And we will be left with nothing after giving up Griffin and Bokie, even Maddux. We would have to be assured Brand is going to stay for the long Haul.

And one more thing: a win tomorrow @ Utah will instantly erase ALL of the pain from tonight's loss. Well... at least from a larger perspective if wins and losses.

The Suns dominated most of the game. Besides the usual contribution from Marbury, Joe Johnson had a great game. But the Clippers led by Elton Brand, Andre Miller, and Quentin Richardson came back and took it.

    Two more game notes:

[1] Amare Stoudemire got out played by Elton Brand. Brand hustled more and used a greater repetoire of moves and shots to take it to the rookie.

[2] Of Elton Brand's 11 rebounds, 8 were offensive. He also collected 2 blocks. The Rockets could sure use a guy like him.

I suspect that rockets will win tomorrow. I mostly worry about Yao. After today's exhausting game, I don't think he will have enough energy for tomorrow. Why didn't Rudy bench him during the overtime? He didn't get a chance to touch the ball anyway.
