Why you guys keep bashing Rudy and Cat? They made mistakes and they are making mistakes. But come on, they also show progress!

Weeks ago, our biggest problem was not getting Yao involved in offense. We thought Rudy didn't have control of Steve and Cat, or Rudy didn't want to play Yao too much bla bla.... But at last Cavs game and Jazz game, I saw Yao got alot more touches, almost in every pocession! That's GREAT!!! 19 assists last night wasn't bad for us! Our offense is getting better. We have seen some smart inside-out and PnR plays. Should we give Rudy some credits for that?

Look at Cat. I used to hate him b/c of his no-pass attitude. But he became a totally different player last night, passing to Yao, getting back and passing to the re-posting Yao and a beautiful cut and slam. Isn't this what we wanted to see weeks ago? Cat isn't a good spot shooter or he's just not used to spot shotting. That's why his FG goes down when he changes the style. Once he gets comfortable, his FG will rise. Look out.

Yes, some other problems rise up. Steve's D on Stockton was horrible, MoT's D on Malone, stretch plays... But I sure we'll fix them.

The point I'm trying to make is: We found problems. We have fixed some and we are working on the remains. Meanwhile some new problems coming out. But this shows our progress. We are getting better and better. GO ROCKETS!

Yeah, that's why we've lost 7 out of our last 10 games

As much as I believe that you've got to take a few steps backward to make a huge leap forward, we are NOT getting better and better. In fact, we're only bandaging up severe wounds when surgery is required.

The Rockets are too concerned about maintaining their playoff position, they're not making the radical changes that they need to. Yao needs the ball, but he's too fatigued to be the man in the second half. Cuttino needs to defer to Yao, but that hurts his streaky style of play and renders him pretty useless. The PF situation needs to be addressed decisively for the remainder of the season.

Otherwise, it's like trying to plug holes in a dam when you should be focusing on building a new one.

The team played ideally on offense last night outside of the last minute in the fourth and in OT. If Steve had made a ft or Cat anything, the game would have been sealed.

Our D wasn't there last night and the bench didn't really come through, but you got to believe that the rox will win at a better rate than they have been if they continue last night's effort.

We played a good team that we had beat but for a few bad calls and mental errors, even though Cat played horribly and we had no D. You have to be happy about that.

I don't think we need to tear it up to get a fresh start. We have two solid star players (SF and Yao) and some usable role players already. That's why I think a new coach may be what this team needs now since Rudy seems to have lost control of the team.

At least Rudy has made Cat pass to Yao more and more, somehow. A new coach? could be better, could be worse also.

We are a .500 team, we have not yet begun to play the toughest portion of our schedule.

WE were playing great in the first quarter and from that point the game got farther and farther away from Team Basketball. Franchise needs to be reprogrammed before the start of the fourth quarter. " Steve you must get your team mates fully involved in the Game. You cant win it by yourself or by only expecting the Guards to Score. Get the Big man going to the basket and help out on defence".

this is a fallacy among so many of die-hard rocket fans around here.

the rockets may be getting better and better, but it is just too darn slow and the progress just isn't tangible on any level. they're losing games, they don't show basketball IQ from the players nor coach, you don't even see real individual progress except from Yao Ming.

it's fair enough already, the rockets have been given enough time. there's nothing wrong with breaking up the team

it seems like it is going to click one day this season...we are progressing but it is only in spurts and th ecompetition is not waiting for us....

we need to click quicker and for sustained periods.....

hopefull this will start happening soon...

the rox are underachieving. they are better than their record. with two legitimate all-stars, the rox should be better than the timberwolves, suns, and jazz.

at this point it does not matter....you gotta go with what got you there unless you can pick up a brand type or grant or something in the area...

there will be no drastic changes this year except turnovers going down as we use Ming more and maybe a trade to strengthen the PF........

either way, this is the team we go to battle and this is a fringe playoff team anyway.....if they miss, then let's gripe about Rudy and all the changes necessary

This team is slightly mentally challenged. It's like they can't blink and talk at the same time. They either play Defense or Offense, never both.
