i hate to say this but the identity of the team has changed. we are now a soft team. i don't care how bad the ball bounces you don't give up nearly 30 offensive boards in a game. Our pitbulls are either injured, traded, aging, or losing minutes to softer players.
I've been telling my friends this since the trade...they have no interior toughness anymore. The team is missing a lot of that scrappyness and hustle/talent that Landry brought. Personally I cant stand watching David Anderson logging heavy minutes.
The Rockets could use more rebounding help out of their backcourt. Another way in which Lowry is missed.
Those are the type of players that fit RA system Brooks, Martin, Budinger, and Anderson are all finesse players.
Barkley was barely 6'6" and I'll bet that nobody accusd him of being soft. Chuck Hayes is one of the toughest players around, just saying.
the entire season... the response from delusional fans is "knee jerk thread" well guess what? it's not a knee jerk anymore, our crappy season is reality. face it. and yao isnt going to bring any toughness to this team, just an intimidation factor around the rim.
No doubt about it....this team has lost it's grit, the same grit they had when Ron was on the team last year.
