No, I don't take the New Orleans Hornets seriously.

Should be an interesting series with the Mavericks playing their best basketball of the season and the Nuggets aggressive style of play. Chauncey Billups and Dirk are guys who will step up and hit shots so I think this series will be decided by the Josh Howard-Carmelo Anthony matchup. Even with 6th man of the year Jason Terry I expect the Nuggets bench to outplay the Dallas 2nd unit, so Howard will have to play out of his mind for Dallas to have a chance.

    Nuggets in 7.

Nowitzki has his way with Martin.

I'm looking foward to this series, no clear favorite IMO.

This will be a very good series. Billups vs. Kidd, Melo vs. Howard, JR Smith vs. Terry... a lot of good one-on-one match-ups.

I'll go with the Nuggets because I expect Chauncey and Carmelo to outplay Kidd and Josh Howard.

Denver in 6. I think Billups is just on another level when it hits post-season.

The Mavs are the Female Ponies.

Right now, I would favor the Mavs but I'm gonna wait until after tomorrow night's Nuggets vs. Honey Bees game.

I'm copy catting whoever you pick. You're the one that kept preaching how the Hornets were as broken as they are. I, attempting to be defiant, tried thinking logically and playing the bogus "they have the best player in the series" card. Needless to say, I was about as wrong as wrong gets.

Funny, when someone brings out a 3-1 up team winning game 5 only 29% as if we have an excuse to lose, my first reaction is those lasy mavs.

This is going to be a great series. It will be close but I see the Mavs edging the Nugz out.

Denver in 5. The Spurs were playing 2-5, the Nuggets have scoring threats all over the place, Dallas will have their hands filled with the next series.

Both teams playing at a high level, I've got Nuggets in 6. Should be a lot of close games, all their regular season games were real close, Nuggets won them all.

Those of you who are so quick to choose Denver, you do understand they didn't face any real adversity against the Honey Bees, right? When a talented team plays one that is less talented, the lesser team only wins by forcing the better team out of their comfort zones with decent defense, hard fouls, trash-talking, better team chemistry, getting under their skin, etc. The Honey Bees did/had NONE of this. The Mavs have several guys who will irritate the Nuggets and actually challenge them. It's a mistake to judge the Nuggets based on their beat-down of New Orleans, which amounts to a first-round bye.

I believe the Nugs have superior firepower on offense and they CAN play good defense, but the Mavs play more like a team, have a better coach and are good enough to make the Nugs doubt each other. Jason Kidd has a lot more intestinal-fortitude than CP. K-Mart will have problems guarding Dirk. Even though Dampier is a chump, he is stronger than Tyson Chandler. The Honey Bees can only dream they had someone like Jet Terry coming off the bench.

Josh Howard will be the key to this series. If he plays well, the Mavs will take this in 6 or less. If not, the Nugs will win. I don't have enough faith in Josh Howard to choose at the moment.
