anyone get water delivered? how much a month? sparkletts wants dam near 40 a month for the dispenser and some delivery. seems pricey. perhaps this is what it costs. what about water snobbery. im not trying to do filter. i want it cold. can I get them to use the deal from twin peaks to get it to a frosty 29 degrees? can water somehow go below 32 yet still be liquid. sorry if posted
I'm cheap. I have a water dispenser I bought years ago for about $150 and three 5 gallon jugs and one 3 gallon jug. I fillup all 18 gallons for $5 or $6, and change out the jugs (like every 6 months to a year) for $13 for a 5 gallon jug. You wanna be cheap, live like me.
is this like the people lined up at fiesta with their water bottles? fast and cheap was her motto i was looking for no hassle and its not the same as getting it from minnetonka
Lord water snob here. Springwater in glass only superior race here. It cost a lot, and the jugs are heavy. Water event, 20 bucks refundable deposit on the glass bottles, 10 bucks for water refills. The jugs are 2.5 gallons. So last month my family of 2.75 (2 adults,1 toddler, and newborn) went through 5 jugs / 10 gallons, so it cost 50 bucks to swap out the empty jugs for new jugs.
I go to Kroger and pay for my refills at the register. Zero lines and cold a/c. You wanted cheap, and I gave you cheap. Water from fridge taste like a$$, regardless of filter changes
Don't haul little bottles of water to your house. Get a filter, drink delicious water all day at your leisure.
Water and ice snob here. I bought these three things: TDS Meter Digital Water Tester, DUMSAMKER Professional 3-in-1 TDS, Temperature and EC Meter with Carrying Case, 0-9999ppm, Ideal ppm Meter for Drinking Water, Aquariums and More APEC Water Systems Ultimate RO-Hi Top Tier Supreme Certified High Output Fast Flow Ultra Safe Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter System, 90 GPD Euhomy Ice Maker Machine Countertop, 40Lbs/24H Portable Compact Ice Cube Maker, With Ice Scoop & Basket, Perfect For Home/Kitchen/Office/Bar (Sliver) Houston tap water tests at close to 200 parts per million total dissolved solids. A freshly opened bottle of ozarka tests at 33 ppm tds, and Houston water through the reverse osmosis system tests at 6 ppm tds. Makes Houston water taste awesome, and my ice is always beautiful and clear (which actually has less to do with water quality and more with how it is made).
appreciate the responses.. so no one orders water anymore and has it delivered? is that me showing my age like wanting to eat steak and ale aka "fax me the proposal" this guy waters. thank you and I appreciate your devotion..that all seems pretty involved. i want to plug and play. lazy i suppose but still nothing as refreshing as super cold agua the real story is i miss olajuwater
I thought about ordering water, but then opted for the cheaper option of buying the cooler and going to local watermills or glacier stations to refill my water jugs for about $3-5 depending where I go. Edit: I have 3 five gallon containers.
