watching OKC always struggle against miami is sad to see due to them relying on star player ball instead of team ball. Watching rockets last game against miami or even last night proves that team ball is the answer to being great in this league even when you have a dominant player. James gets his but he also sets his teamates up for open shots do to being unselfish. THis forced miami to trap harden and Lin all game so they couldnt make plays off the dribble. Rockets went to miami and took it to them till the final buzzer with miami barely winning that game. Once this team jells, guys get consistent with their play making and shot selection, and Mchale gets more creative on offensive side, i see this young team looking great NOT fighting for the 8th spot anymore. A few new players will help but no rush, let these young guys grow

Well Heat beat us without Bosh, and OKC routinely blow us out so what's your point?

I don't think we are in any position to ridicule OKC for being only the second or third best team in the league.

Heat shuts down PG dominated offense. But you need fast paced PG oriented offense to win in the West. Expecting Miami to win the next 3 championships unless they change the format of East/West Conferences.

I get the impression that they were half coasting throughout the first half and really getting into midseason and postseason form now

    Said it in another thread...

But get used to a whole lot more Miami Heat championships folks. The floodgates have opened with Lebron getting that first ring.

Actually I did see the game, and the Rockets, without Harden, did every bit as well at LA as OKC is doing at home against the Heat. Whatever the heck that means.

No we wouldn't. We would've still had Kevin Martin.

The problem is that Harden is giving in to his teammates request for team ball right now because he is still new to the whole starter thing. A starter rookie if I may. Once he becomes more comfortable with his role, he won't really care as much what Patrick Patterson or Mookie tell him.
