it's this time of year again and we could possibly witness the greatest Rockets season since the glory years.. This is my first year away from H-Town and I was wondering if there is any way to watch Rockets games other than getting League Pass.. I have a couple of questions:

-what FSN do we get in CS? I'm pretty sure it's not the Houston one right?
-any good sports bar that ALWAYS have Rockets games on?
-for Rockets fans in College station: do you guys get together and watch games frequently? I live on campus (in the commons) so it would be really cool to watch the rockets with fellow clutchfans..
-would anyone be interested in splitting a league pass subscription (I only need the broadband part)?

Are you going to TAMU? I am and I live in a dorm and It's my first year away from Houston too. I know that we (Texas A&M dorms) get FSN Southwest with 2 or 3 alternates (overflow games). We should get Mavs Spurs and Rockets games. I've been able to watch both Rangers and Stros.

If you don't go to A&M, you should make a friend that goes there and watch games with him.

Unless things changed from last year... You will not see the Mavs or Spurs ever, except for the Mavs on HDNet.

All FSN Rockets games are televised in CS except for when an Aggie bball game is on the same time as the Rockets.

You will not get the games televised on UPN or whatever.

They show all the games on FSN there in College Station. The ones on the local channels are normally on ch. 18 or something like that.

If all else fails, you can always walk over to the corner. Actually, I don't know their rules about underage kiddos, but I'm sure they would be showing the game either way... probably without sound though.

The Corner bar shows the games, they let underage people in too. They don't check during the day.

Buffalo Wild Wings by far, is the best place to watch games.

I once walked in there to watch FB and saw no HDTVs anywhere. Are they around the corner hidden in the back somewhere?

The quality of HDTV signal in CS is far superior to that of Houston. It blows it out of the water.

They did last year. Thank god I got the hell out of there. I heard something about FSN SW in Houston changing to FSN-Houston. Maybe that has to with it. Kill yourself.

They did last year, check the alternate FSN channel.

Here in Nacogdoches, on the FSNHD it's the Stars Hockey, on the regular channel it's the Rockets.

Wish they were in HD here. :(

Sorry, I see that you live on campus. I believe it's channel 15 on campus -- at least it was a couple years ago.
