and they were showing Game 4 of the 01 Western Conference SemiFinals and I just found several things interesting.

Would Sacramento have been better off keeping Jason Williams. I know that the next season they were pretty much a few referee calls away from the NBA Finals and a possible championship but since then the team has sort of peaked. On the other hand, Jason Williams has become a better player in Memphis and probably the second best "ball handling" point guard in the league besides Jason Kidd. I think Bibby really helped that team his first season with his better decision making but Sacramento has really not gotten better imo since Bibby's first season there. Not saying its his fault, just wondering for whom that trade is eventually going to work out for in the long-run. The reason I was wondering is because I had forgotten that they were beaten by the Lakers that season, and that was probably the best Kobe and Shaq team, so I don't think it would have made any difference who Sacramento had at the point.

Also found it interesting that Jim Gray was pretty much saying it was a lock that Chris Webber was not going to stay with the Kings. He said that Chris Webber wouldn't say it but he was pretty much gone. That guy is full of himself.

I miss NBC's coverage of the NBA, Jim Gray withstanding.

You're right that it didn't matter what point guard the Kings had in that series, they would've been swept regardless the way LA was playing. Jason Williams has improved in leaps and bounds but I still kinda doubt his decisions. I was watching the Spurs/Grizzlies series and he was still throwing up those ridiculous 3 pointers. Bibby is much more controlled, however, his defense is absolutely horrid even compared to William's defense.

So I say it was good for both parties, the Kings got a better decision making pg in Bibby, and because of the trade, Williams is getting better and better. Anyways, isn't Coach Adelman not known for developing young talent anyways?

jwill has definately gotten under control and is a much better player than he was but bibby is still the better player. he may be the best jump shooting point in the game and does it during money time.

If that's true you gotta wonder if he's gone to Detroit, and if that happens what happens to Wallace, Okur, Darko, etc.
