I know I know, this was 2005. I know that it was a totally different team. But everytime I watch this video it gives me chills. Maybe we could channel some of this energy in the next two games to take it to the limit! <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Vch5t5wnwug&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Vch5t5wnwug&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
With yao out there this would be so fun....... But its a struggle.......... But i think we can jump on them quick because they will feel everything is on their side............ Then we jump on them..........Every body hitting and driving.......And we get up by ten........... Take game three in Utah........AND game 2 Im ready to witness a miracle.......are yall.............Or is it over for yall.......Are yall just gonna jump to rebuilding........ NO........We still have lots to play for..............Every body steps up.......And maybe our hearts can carry us......... Rockets in 7...........
Where's Sura; him injured is still a better option than Head in the playoffs. I'm usually a head supporter too, but these last two games have been unbearable.
I've always loved this video. Confidence and swagger. Bobby and John worked well for the short time we had them.
Yeah, I was hoping that Adelman's system would have transformed him, but it hasn't yet. Our guys just can't create for themselves, or get a shot off unless they are relatively open.
gawd I miss Jon Barry's shooting & heart I miss Bobby Sura's fierceness and energy I miss Wesley's defense, strength, & shooting I miss Mike James, the old great Mike James who could actually play I miss Padgette.. yes, he sucked, but I miss his shooting off the T-mac PnR I miss Ryan Bowen.. yeah, I said it.. watching him kill Dirk in that series was just great.. I miss the old Tracy McGrady, the one who stepped up in the 4th quarter & played all out I miss Yao Ming.. I really do.. I absolutely loved the 04-05 squad.. we didn't have that much talent, no young guys, no dunks/excitements, but they had heart, they had great energy and they were just so much fun to watch despite their slow-paced game.. Bobby Sura was a monster, Jon Barry was a wizard, David Wesley was a good defender and great shooter, Mike James stepped in and delivered big time.. gosh.. I don't think I will ever enjoy watching a group of guys play as much as I did watching those 04-05 guys... Sura, Barry, Wesley, and the original James will never be replaced.. god I'm depressed..
Who wants to chip in with me to buy Tmac the Rocky movie series on DVD so he has something to watch over the next few days?
Shut yo mouth! W/ so many snipers waiting on the wings, teams couldn't afford to clog the paint and prevent T-Mac from driving w/o risking a three-point barrage. I'm sorry man, but just Shane and Bobby are not enough of a threat to scare teams... Nevertheless, I wish Mac BELIEVED again. It seems like he is more concerned w/ proving critics wrong now, rather than actually playing the game with heart and having fun...
I think when your goal is simply to get out of the first round you will always lose to teams with players whose goal is to win a Championship.
I'm pretty sure he's said on numerous occasions that his goal is to win a championship and so has everyone elso on the team. I think the only people affiliated with the rockets who ever said anything about just getting out of the first round was Morey and maybe les. Might be a reason behind them not spending the bucks to improve upon one of the most mediocre group of role players in the league.
