It is nice to see an athletic freak that is NOT an idiot. The guy is a blue collar worker, and extremely intelligent. I'm hopeful!
He shoots about as good as Kawhi Leonard and Ron Artest... (No, he can't shoot...) c (There will absolutely be a trade, this is Morey we are talking about. They said the same thing about Chuck too!) The one that kills me is Azubuike. You could tell that he was going to be a player, and we BADLY needed his offense in the Gundy days...
So you're saying there's no I in Marquis? Or is he a Marcus that spells his name with a QU? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Iszpz4vZ3Qs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Ok, I'm done. His name is definitely up there with Malcom Floyd and Dwyane Wade as aggravatingly misspelled, to the point where I misspell Dwayne when I type it in ~50% of the time. I liked the kid coming out in the draft, but I've always had a thing for long, athletic scrub 3s that can crash the glass and can't shoot; I wanted James Singleton on the Rockets forever. Obviously there's no room on the team for him, but hell, if the Rockets could trot out Ryan Bowen, they could find room for Blakely.
I like him.. Assuming Marcus Cousin and either Parsons doesnt make it(not sure if he's guarunteed but Id think hed be staying) or Donatas stays overseas for the year, he could have a spot.. If Parsons and Donatas both stay we'd have to see a trade for him to stick... Maybe T-Will or Bud could be expendable, depending on how good he looks in camp..
A few weeks ago I read somewhere that he recently signed a one-year deal with PEAK. Good for him. Apparently China still loves the Rockets. He better called Yao to thank him, though.
Loved him when he played for the Clippers. Sad to see him go. Glad he landed with the Rox. Reminds me a little of a sane Ruben Patterson... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN5wP-C5_bw
Well they do have him signed at two years/ $788,000. Maybe if Motie and Parsons stay overseas, they could give him at least a half season run with the team. This is like the 2nd or 3rd time that i have heard about the Chuck Hayes comparisons. Where did this start? If this is true, wow!
