    Sheppard hasn't been good. Also a case where they got rid of the GM before the coach (Wes Enseld). Wes was from the Malone tree, and was supposed to improve their defense; but the Wiz didn't drastically improve; (25th last season, 21st this season).

    As for Sheppard, moving from Rui was fine because Wiz didn't want to pay him, but really didn't get much back. The KCP trade for Barton/Monte Morris with Nuggets, doesn't look like a win. Overpay on Beal (and have away the no trade clause, which many deemed unnecessary).

    They don't have a stock pile of picks, what little they did have, they spent it on Johnny Davis last year. He missed out on Jalen Williams, Tari, and Walker Kessler, to name a few.

    In this draft, they're probably hoping the new GM will have a better eye for Wemby's class. That and their pivot year is coming with Kuz and Porzingis' contracts,

    Not likely, but as a wish list, Wiz might try to make a run for GSW GM: Bob Meyers
