is leading the Astros in TBs with 45, two ahead of Carlos Lee. Biggio is also first in runs and second in RBIs.

I hate how this guy is dragging down the Astros in his selfish quest for 3000 hits.

Leading this offense in any statistical category is like being the NIT champion.

This being said I agree Biggio is not the problem but he sure as hell does not need to be the leadoff man.

Come on guys, he needed 70 hits to get 3000 not 170, bat Biggio 6th.

Bat him first or second--more ABs to get there quicker. Then drop him both to 6th and give Burke much more 2B time. Not to mistreat a first-ballot HOFer and the face of the Astros for 20 years, but this is definitely his swan song.

More like how much the offense has fallen if a guy with .253/.308/.474 is currently our best offensive player

Yes, your leadoff guy getting on base at a .429 clip is terrible.

8 runs in 4 games for a team that can't score? Just terrible.

Bench the b*stard already. THAT will solve their problems. Oh wait, I forgot: Hunter Pence is THE ANSWER.

Biggio is also leading the Astros starters in SLG!!!

Two more doubles and Biggio ties Yaz on the all time doubles list @ #7.

Biggio should never be benched. He's our only player worth a damn lately. Who else would play lead-off man? Why would you want to push him to the 6th in favor of Burke later int he season??
A- Burke sucks, he's not good in center, and hasn't hit the ball worth a damn.
Even if he plays second, he still sucks at hitting. He's a little girl.
B- Biggio is the ****, why would you disrespect our only consistent hitter this season by pushing him way down in the lineup

When you were a little kid and saw Biggio, what was he? A LEAD OFF man and a 2nd baseman. Burke can eat it.

    BIGGIO FOR LIFE

yeah, ausmus is our biggest problem. if we don't get more production out of the 8 hole, we're doomed.
