Was This Recent?

I believe it was from late May, early June if it is the one that was caught on a security camera at some business. My friend in IA was working this case in June.

 

Every one of the cops who attacked that kid should be behind bars. Period.

 

Do you know the result of the investigation?

 

I know that most of the officers were fired and some suspended. From what I know the victim's injuries (or lack thereof) weren't enough to warrant a felony charge/conviction.

In other words, if you're going to beat someone, make sure you stop just in time. (not sure if a smilie is appropriate).

 

Shame that they didn't get sentenced for aggravated assault (like all of the rest of us would have).

I wonder how they measure injuries for a case like this - seems odd, but a particularly durable person could suffer a **** ton of pain and his attackers could get off with a light penalty simply because the victim didn't get his skull crushed.
