Was last night win as an attempt to kill trades that would have gone down?

Tonights lost show that we need a sharp shooter.I was mad that roxs didn't get Ray allen.Man we would have made mavs work for their shots.Steve is in pain. but playing him is dumb u got the other games to think about.What if he seriously wake up and his back be in more pain,what we going to do? Roxs just need to lose the rest of the games to have a shot at lebron.ok ok i shouldn't think like that. But trade for a vertern consistent shooter would done wonders for us.
