I have my first wart... it's a nasty bugger on my palm. I use a file like object to get out the black specks and now I have medicine from CVS on it. How does everyone else treat their warts?

I remember my father freezing one of my warts off when I was younger with what I guess was liquid nitrogen or something similar. After a few days, it turned purple and essentially fell off.

And that's exactly what I was going to say.

I had a wart removed with liquid nitrogen from the end of a Q-Tip. Go see your doctor and if he decides to, it can be removed in a few minutes.

Yet another use for duct tape :

If you're not into that :

I see commercials for that stuff you can buy over the counter now to freeze warts off. Forgot who makes it... I know I'll probably see it again on tv soon, so I'll post it if I do. Maybe somebody else can remember.

You pluck a hair from a horses tail , get one close to it anus if possible. You tie the hair in a regulal knot arround the wart, very tight. Trim the hair to a reasonable size, aboult six inches on each end. Every day you tighten the knot, intime the wart will be severed cleanly from you and the chemical condition of the hair treats the root and you won't have anything growing back. This is a very old fashioned way of doing it but its a true and tested way! Dr.Yetti W.Sp.and BB Commentator.

I once removed a wart with the unripened liquid from a fig in the backyard at 713 Garden Oaks Boulevard in Houston, Texas.
