seems like this guy get's traded every year.. haha just got through looking at his stats.. he does get traded almost every year.. correction.. twice a year looks like he did decent when he got playing time though.. he avgd 13/5 for NOH 02-03 ATL 03-04 ATL 03-04 POR 04-05 DAL 04-05 NOH 06-07 POR 07-08 LAC
how does that work? he signed a contract in europe and a couple of months later he's back in the nba? did he even play a game for them? i thought maybe i was thinking of another crappy former gonzaga player that went to europe but i guess not.
dan the man dickau was pretty good at jacking up 3pters when he was with hornets. I was there my freshman year to watch him have that nice season. I dont think he ever found a team with a good fit. He's not a true pg. Hes one of those 2s in pg body. I like his 3pt shot though.
People wondering if Aaron Brooks can cut it...AB will always have a place in this league if the likes of Dan Dickau remain in it. He's still getting by as the guy who kinda sorta in a far off way compares to John Stockton who went to the same college.
Can't stand watching him last year when he was a clipper. And I seen lots of him as I live in LA (my luck I can't get into my company's Staple suite for Laker games and since nobody wants to see the clippers it's the best I can do to see live action). Dan can't run a team to save him, but yes he can knock down that outside shot. He's got the little PG size and can dribble seemingly well, but the worst thing for him as a PG is that he can't pass and he's terrible setting up the half court. I've seen leads (and yes it's easy to remember these times when the clippers do have a lead) blown away by Dan single handedly. A couple of games I remember well where the clippers are up 10pts and then with 2mins left in a quarter they put in Dan and by end of quarter they are tied. I do get the sense he's one of those players that get better as he plays. You put him in for 2-4 minutes and it looks bad, you got turnovers and bad shot selection from him. He looks like a rook trying to prove he's a star. But if you put him in for a full quarter he's ok. Unfortunately for him there will be more times where he gets 2-4 minutes than 8-12 minutes in a quarter. I take AB anyday.
