I can't believe that the warriors are running a Yao Ming autographed jersey contest on nba.com's team board. Come on, don't they realize that Yao's a rocket? Don't they have their own stars to promote than using a player from another team? This is sad for that franchise. LOL!!!

Yeah it's just too funny. I wonder what the warrior players think about that.

Yeah...when Yao went to Golden State, wasn't it almost or sold out? So many Chinese people there. If they got him...the owner would be rich. But we have him. :) Yeah...DON'T THEY HAVE JASON RICHARDSON AND ANTAWN JAMISON? And Earl Boykins? And Mike Dunleavy? All these stars!

You have to remember that Northern California has one of the largest Asian populations in the country. There is some logic to this. Hey, the Warriors have to sell tickets too, and why else go to one of their games.

Yeah, the warriors sold out that game easily. That games sets the attendance record for the whole season. Yao's hugely popular over there. I couldn't imagine what would happen if the warriors had the first pick and picked JWill. Their management team would be lynched by the fans.

Well they are doing that to encourage their fans to sign up for the
"Warriors GTOe-mail". And the prize is a Houston Rockets Jersey...

I wonder how they would feel if they had the no.1 and STILL drafted Dunleavy. THEN the fans would have gone crazy. :D

Well yes in a marketing point of view the promotion is a good one...

    But if you're a long-time die-hard Warriors fan, then that's another story...

I hope we are not going to have a contest for Pheonix Sun's Jersey signed by Amare Stoudemire on the Rockets page.
